How long does a bathroom remodel take?
Most bathroom remodels take about 3-4 weeks of construction. Larger projects, like moving the layout or adding a steam shower, can take 6 weeks or more. You get a clear schedule before we start.
Do I need a permit to remodel my bathroom in Los Angeles?
In most cases, yes. When plumbing, electrical or walls are changed, the city requires a permit and inspections. We prepare the drawings, pull the permit and schedule every inspection for you.
Can I convert my tub into a walk-in shower?
Yes, it's one of our most common requests. We remove the tub, rebuild and waterproof the floor and walls, and install a curbless or low-curb shower with glass, niches and a bench if you want one.
How do you prevent leaks and water damage?
Every shower gets a full waterproofing membrane on the floor and walls, correct slope to the drain and a flood test before tile goes in. Plumbing is inspected before the walls are closed.
Can I use the rest of my home during the remodel?
Yes. We protect floors and hallways, seal off the work area to control dust, and clean up at the end of every day. If it's your only bathroom, we plan the schedule with you up front.
